2. Two of Lorcan's older siblings die before he is born. When, exactly, they were born is not mentioned, but Merrion is seven years older than Loran and Anla is only three, so there could easily have been at least one between between Merrion and Anla.
3. Given the Paltendale connection, Lorcan and Kerovan must be related at some point as distant cousins.
