Write-up from a fan ~
Marta Hartman goes to a bead shop, seeking the help of someone a friend of hers had told her could help her discover what had happened to so change her granddaughter Alexia from a loving girl into a teenage terror. Marta's husband, Jonas, and she had taken in Alexia when she was three, after her parents were killed in a plane crash. Now after the two of them had come to settle Jonas's great grandmother's estate, Alexia has changed drastically. The old family mansion has on its grounds a portion of an old church from Germany--the portion containing the anchorite's cell--anchorites being people deemed especially evil who were walled up inside the church. This is what Alexia had discovered and had retrieved a necklace from it that allowed the old evil to take possession of her. Marta's friend manages to perform an exorcism which banishes the evil and returns Alexia to herself. ~ SL
