Synopsis:
It seems that only Sytry knew his destiny and he keeps insisting on being allowed to live it. Sytry is a tinkerer and his family thinks he only plays with stinks and noises. His wife of the Old Race teaches him the power in secret. In a world where magic is the only power and machines are shunned the people believe their only recourse against Dukkar is to run and hide. Only Sytry is willing to stand and fight at the cost of all the Futures Yet Unseen, and prove that you need both magic and machines to fight the war.
