Synopsis:

Silistia is 17 and has the beginnings of the power which is allowing her to sense a calling she must answer. Only her mother will have nothing of it and forbids her to go anywhere. Silistia confides in her cousin Reldo this calling and he agrees to help her on her quest. They sneak away under the guise of going to the festival of the Young in Emerald Cove the local town. Deep in the woods they come across an ancient ruin and deep in the bowels of the ruin is chamber with an ebony altar. Above the altar an image is forming and talking to Silistia but Reldo can’t see it or hear it. It tells her that it is her father Godron and she is to unite with him. After receiving images of her birth and the happenings surrounding it she realizes that he intends to plant his seed in her and she has to fight him with all her will.

Timeline Points:

  1. Sequel to The Stones of Sharnon
  2. p217. Silistia is 17.

Sorceres Notes:
The authors don't go into detail but I suspect this story is set in Escore sometime after The Gate of the Cat.
