Jobec, Sulcaman Captain of the Red Dawn finds himself on the beach after a storm has sacked his ship. After setting out on a quest for water and food he discovers an ancient ruin full of dead soldiers killed not by war. There he takes possession of a Red-hilted sword, has a vision of a silvery girl named Salith whom could not be there but she saves him from the Evil darkness that lives in the ruins. After resting in the wood he awakens on a beach, not the one he was on before, to discover he has been found by his crew. For they had seen the signal fire he did not set. Only to discover the fire surrounded by footprints and nearby a shimmering silver scarf. Jobec vows to return someday to find the girl and give his thanks.

Sorcerer's Notes:
It's possible the massive storm that beached their ship was caused by the Turning. Otherwise, it could take place anytime during the Invasion of High Hallack or around the Turning.
