Luanne sneaks out of the castle in the middle of the night to travel to her love. At the edge of the waste she stops in an Inn to find a guide. Only crazy ol Pearr will take her through the waste but he is on his own quest to find “The Road of Dreams”. They come across evidence of a battle between a lone rider and the Gray Ones, Luanna decides they must try to save the rider. Both Luanne and Pearr find their quest fulfilled at the end of “The Road of Dreams” but only one gets what they want.
